This is actually one of two problems I'm currently dealing with.(only been dealing with this specifically for the last month or so,)
the other problem I've had is more detailed here if any of you guys can help. :http://pcpartpicker.com/forums/topic/167606-total-system-freezing

My specs are: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/alphonseTK/saved/G4xrHx

I started this build roughly 3 months ago... still have yet to get it up and running fully...
I've scoured the internet for this issue and found plenty of people with the same problem from a different cause.
And if you're wondering, yes I have gone through the checklist of troubleshooting.

over the course of this build I've replaced the PSU From thermaltake toughpower grand 850 gold, to the corsair 750.
swapped the motherboard from a Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0 ATX to the current one.
switched between two processors, one AMD fx-9590 and a AMD fx-6100 (from my old build.)
traded back and forth two Graphics cards, first being the GTX 970, and the other being a Nvidia geforce gtx 560 (from my old build.)

I know the GC is good,(my roommate has been using it in the old build) the PSU is good,(tested with the paperclip shorting trick.) I doubt I would have gotten two broken motherboards in a row so I kinda don't think its that.(but I understand, anything can happen.)

lotta people have suggested a ram problem? but I've tried every stick of ram in my house in every slot, still nothing.

I'm at my wits end, I need to get this build working, please I'm desperate.

I'm pretty I sure didn't.
When I installed the new MB it was working, I turned it off and moved it back to its more permanent position booted up again, still working. I left for about an hour and came back and it was off and wouldn't come back on.

The only thing that i would say is that if you had problems with the M5A99x board fitted into the system case.
And then you bought another motherboard and placed it in the same system case.

And it has started to exhibit the same symptoms.

Is that you have a short circuit of both the motherboards when fitted to the system case due to a brass standoff or mother board mount touching the back side of your motherboard in both cases.

It would be the only thing that makes sense if you have tried two cpu`s, another graphics card in the system and two different power supply units to still have the same problem.

I would pull the whole system out of the case and place it on a large bit of cardboard and connect all of the components and the Psu to it.
and then test the system.

To see how it performs then.
If it works fine then check the motherboard mounting plate and the standoffs fitted to see if they are positioned in the correct places for pass through holes on the motherboard.

And there is not any extra ones fitted that will be touching the back of the motherboard when mounted to the plate of the system case.

I removed the whole system and ran it on a piece on cardboard, still won't start up...
