My rig specs as per below:
Intel i7-4790
MSI Z97A Gaming 7 MB
Corsair Vengence Pro 2400MHz 8GB X 4
MSI GeForce GTX970 Gaming OC 4GB
Creative Sound Blaster Zx
CoolerMaster V1000 80+ Gold PSU
The above rig was setup in June last year. It was running Win7 OS till this year without much problem. In Aug this year, I decided to switch to Win10 Home edition. Did the upgrade to Win10 and things were running fine for a while, then problems start to appear. Firstly, the BIOS died (stuck at the rotating dots), so I switched to the secondary BIOS and it managed to boot up. It was ok for a few weeks. Now, nothing happens when I try to boot up (no sound, no LED, nothing). I notice that the power button on the MB is not lighted up. It will only lighted up about 5-10min after I turn on the mains switch. Then only I can boot up and the system will function as per normal. I'm trying to get another PSU to tested out whether that is the problem.
Has anyone experience this before? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
