Hi everyone! long time reader but first time poster. hope everyone is doing well this morning. I am coming to you as ive hit the end of my own knowledge on computers and im not sure what i did to my own computer.

So, I upgraded my radeon 5700 graphics card to a evga geforce gtx 750ti. When I got it and installed it...it did nothing. No signal to my monitor. So I put in my old card and actually deleted my driver's and removed the old card again and tried the new one. Still nothing. Did some research and I tweeked my ram sticks (accidentally turning the computer on with no ram in it too). still nothing. I unplugged my 2nd monitor and it actually started to boot up rather than sit there with just power running through the tower (fans running and my ram lights on, ect). But shortly after it started to boot...it crashed and shut off completely. It kept doing this over and over when I'd try and turn it on again except it stayed on less and less till it finally wouldn't turn on at all. I've got a setting on the back of my power supply that is a switch that goes from 115 to 230. It sits normally on 115, which I'm assuming Volts. So I switch out the cards again and try to boot and now it won't boot up with either card. It will not boot to bios and i just has power running through but wont get any signal to my monitor. after i turn it on and leave it, it shuts off after 5ish minutes. ive gone through all connections and theyre all fine. im just trying to get some sort of idea whats going as someone suggested my motherboard might be fried. any tips or help would be greatly appreciated! have a good morning!

Well clearing CMOS did no harm either, but can you access the onboard speaker to listen for debug beeps from your motherbaord? When you cant even get to BIOS there's a good chance it's hardware related, and depending on (upped voltage to 230 in America especially) whether you changed your voltage on the PSU that may be the culprit. Have you adjusted the CPU chip at all? Have you checked for damaged or bent pins in the socket? That can cause instability, both over time and in an instant.
