Of course it'll work mate , bear in mind after formatting & installing os you'll only have 180-190gb to play with.
You can always add another internal drive at a later date if you find yourself struggling.

If you want to use only SSD as internal storage, I would recommend that you go for something bigger at least 500GB.
250GB is rnot much, especially if you have games.
Todays AAA games are quite huge.
