I guess it fepends on how many such work you do, ergo how long it would take for it to "pay for itself" as opposed to just buying compressed air.

No, no worries about damaging teh components.
That being said, you clean your PC once a week? That woudl be highly excessive. If you clean other peoples pcs, then yeah, that duster is definitely a good idea.

He has been using it for years and has nothing bad to say about it. Seem like a good product. I own a small pancake compressor, but if I didn't I would consider this over cans.
