here is the parts

(sli bridge is the cheap ribbon one that came with motherboard)
story time, I have just bought 2 new gigabyte extreme gaming 1080 gpus for my new build
after installing gpus, I went ahead and tried enabling sli windows 10 pro crashed endless boot cycle (driver for this was 3.70.70

this morning I uninstalled entire gpu drivers, and installed fresh 370.90, from website
now it crashes when I enable it, but allows me to boot to windows normally with sli disable.
help me understand why?
Thank you

Solution
Try with only one single SLI bridge. It should work!

More and more people are reporting this type of issues with either two single sli bridge connected or a HB bridge. Only fix from Nvidia for now is to use one single SLI connector between the 2 cards.

They did not test a lot of chipsets before releasing their cards and now customers are suffering!!!

THANKS NVIDIA...

thus far the single bridge does not work
im using a ribbon style i don't know if it works.
i fear i might need to do a full system wipe.
