What is meant my PSU efficiency. Confused about this

I found some says. efficiency means .
For eg a 500W PSU 80 % efficient so it means it takes 500w from wall and gives 400W to the system.
Or other part
it gives 500w to the system and takes 600 W from the wall.
So which is right , i'm confused about this
Please a help will be better.

If a power supply is more efficient, it requires less AC power to produce the same amount of DC power than a lesser efficient unit and less heat is produced. You should read this article by a power supply maker and it will answer all your questions.

i planning to buy seasonic S12 430 will this PSU will be enough adding other small peripherals consumption .
Or is it too tight.
How much will this system consume @ 100% load?

Tiny Tom Logan from OC3D.net ran the system below on a Corsair RM450 80+ Gold Certified power supply so if it's good power supply you will be fine but if want you could go with a 500 or 550 watt power supply

I have doubt after some years the PSU gets ware and tare so the output power will get decreased right and pc components consumption increase as years pass right?

Can only make an estimate,but it's probably around 200watts. You don't need to worry for the years to come if not using parts that will require more power than these.
