i have a dell vostro with dual core intel processor and g33 chipsets i tried to add this card MSI-Nvidia-GeForce-210-1GB-Video-Graphics-Card-PCIe-N210-MD1G-D3 but windows wont add it i even downloaded the driver and still no dice What gives???

yes i switched the cord over to the cards hd port on the new board using a vga cord with a hdmi adapter

What kind of HDMI to VGA adapter? There is no analog (VGA) signal on the HDMI port, just digital. Your adapter would need to be a powered D/A converter.

its not powererd its just an adapter with a female vga and a male hdmi,, the monitor is a flatscreen tv and everything works when its plugged into the board but the computer isnt using the card and its not self installing like it should pnp
