RAM upgrade (laptop Asus R540LA-XX254T)

Hi

I got a Asus R540LA-XX254T laptop equiped with 4 GB of ram memory, and i would like to upgrade it to 8go.

Thus i've opened it to find the location of the memory modules, and i found it (placed on the back of the motherboad...asus please put it on a better position).

Then i saw that the 4 GB i got are integrated in the laptop (the chips have been soldered) but i got a slot for a ram extension. The problem is i have no idea of what ram module shall i buy. There is a sticker with two barcodes on the extension slot, but i've not found intresting information.

Could you guys help me to find which ram i have to buy?

Are you finding what DDR is your ram?
If yes,here's how you can find it.
1. Go to task manger
2. Click on performance
3. Click on Memory
At the top right-hand corner you will see your RAM's info and DDR. Mines DDR3

Okay, so i got 4 GB of DDR3, 1600 MHz
Here are all the infromaton

Does any DDR3 1600 MHz using a SODIMM socket work or are there other compatibility problems?

I don't know if there is any DDR3 1600MHz SODIMM is on sale. While for the socket,a DIMM may not be compatible with a SODIMM socket as it is twice as long as a SODIMM. I will inform you if I found A DDR3 1600MHz SODIMM on sale.
