Hello, I'm having an incredibly frustrating problem with Path of Exile.

I've been playing this game since its launch without any problems. Recently I built a new PC and also played the game for about 2 months with the new system without any concerns. About 2 days ago, the game completely froze and locked my computer. I think it was a BSoD but it just never recovers until I do a hard restart. It also had the repetitive audio sounds you get when your computer suddenly stops.
I've tried many things to fix the problem, I've even gone to the extreme of completely reinstalling windows clean. And it still happens.

SPECS:
i7 6700k
GTX 1080
16GB DDR4
Windows 10

I've checked my temperatures, all fine. I've reinstalled the game, I've reinstalled windows, I've tested other games such as Witcher 3, BF4, Darksouls 3 they all work fine. Only PoE does this and it's not after 1 or 2 hours of playing, it's almost instantaneous. I've even downloaded the standalone client rather than playing on Steam but nothing works. One thing I have noticed though is that I get some sort of slight buzzing sound whenever I play these games. I'm not sure what it is, maybe coil whine?

How can ONLY PoE cause my computer to basically lock up until I do a hard reboot. I've contacted support but have yet to hear anything back. I'm not too savvy to understand crash reports or anything, but I'm really hoping it's not my hardware since it's fairly new.

Please, if you know the solution, or have ANY ideas, throw them my way. It's worth noting that this game has had MANY issues with sound cards and drivers in the past.

Here is a link to my DxDiag: http://pastebin.com/ygV7k7n8

So I know you can easily max the game, but what if you play it on low?

Does the buzzing come over the speakers/headphones or from the actual computer? if it's the computer, its coil whine, and would be a problem with the GPU.

If it's coming from the speakers when playing the game, it could be a CPU or sound card/driver problem.

I would try reinstalling all your Motherboard drivers that are on your Mobo's support page.

I figured out that the coil whine is because I didn't limit my FPS and anything over like 1000 frames causes too much strain and it whines.

I'll try that. Is it strange that the game itself freezes my computer and causes BSoD? It's only that game and no other.

I guess that's good to know. I am almost certain it isn't the hardware. It just really sucks because it's hard to find out what's causing it exactly. I don't know how to read crash reports much.

Well, after updating drivers it still seems to be happening. I don't know what else to do. I have bluescreenview install but don't know how to link the error codes it's giving me. Maybe that will help to get me more info?
