Hello!

About a month ago my modem/router stopped turning on and our cable company replaced it with a newer model. My laptop is an ASUS G55VW and I used to get 300mbps with the older modem compared to our new one. The thing is it is only my laptop that is affected and my father's laptop can still get a solid 300mbps with the same ethernet cable on the new modem. So I found that the speed settings on my network adaptor only had the options for 10mbps half/full, 100mbps half/full duplex and Auto Negotiation which still limits it to 100mbps.

I've tried reinstalling multiple drivers already and its still the same. As far as I know none of the settings on my laptop has changed since then. How do I change my speed back to 1000mbps?

I've tried my usual Cat5e on two computers with the same results. I've also tried another random cable I had sitting in a box on both computers. The problem computer is only getting 90mbps while the other laptop is getting 315mbps.
