My ISP service is 15M down and 1M up. My main router is a N router. However I am using an old G router as a WiFi bridge for the far corner at the 2nd floor. I have an Android TV box HDMI connected to my TV on the main floor. This Android box is WiFi connected to my N router for watching movie which I subscribe to over internet. The TV box will adjust the picture quality automatically based on band width. I noticed that I am on 1080P most of the time.
I now want to put a TV with the same Android TV box on 2nd floor which means that it will be WiFi connected to my G router. I am just wondering if I can get the same picture quality on my 2nd TV.
Please correct me if I am wrong. Since my ISP is only giving me 15M (I think it is 15 mega bit per sec, mbs) , so either a N router (300 mbs) or a G router (54 mbs) is more than 15 M. So I should have no problem getting the same picture quality on my 2nd TV if the 2 TV box are identical.

It shouldn't really matter. The router seems more than capable of deliver full speed to you.As long as the G router is getting full signal strength then your picture quality should be as same as the old with N router
