I have a Toshiba 16gb 3.0 usb stick. I had no problems using it with my old pc which had a 1.1 usb hub. Now I'm using a new pc with 3.0 connectors on the front and files always transfer slowly to this drive. Not only that but when I transfer a file, around 700mb to 1gb, it says the transfer speeds are upwards of 150 or even 260 MB/s which is obviously not true as the device is rated at 10-20 MB/s depending on where you look.
The green status bar that shows the transfer progress usually also speeds up to around 90-98% full then stays there, seemingly as though it's stuck for a good long while as the file transfers. Overall transfers take a few minutes.
I'm using an i-5 6500 and an asus b-150m-a with all the current drivers and updates.
