I recently decided to upgrade my rig to the lga 1155 platform and as it happened a friend offered me a spare 1155 motherboard. So I took it and transferred my working hd 7970 over and no signal.I get a signal from the integrated graphics. I got a signal from a spare r7 240 I had lying around but nothing from the 7970.
Specs:
i5 2500(not k)
cih61mi v1.1 (motherboard made by lenovo)
4gb 1600mhz dimm
hd 7970
corsair vs550 (550 watts)
I have tried changing the display. I have tried changing the output. I have tried changing the default graphics output in the bios.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
