can't upgrade bios from version 1.x to version 2.x

hai, i have laptop Acer E1-471 with bios version 1.29. so, i want to upgrade into 2.xx version but it show like this :

can someone help me ??
i know this is not motherboard PC, but BIOS is in everywhere..

Why do you want to update? Unless you are having problems you should not update the BIOS, BIOS flashing is risky. Try a BIOS directly from acer: http://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/drivers (search your model product number then click on BIOS)

The problem arises because you're trying to update a legacy (non-UEFI) BIOS (v1.xx) with a UEFI BIOS (v2.xx).
The UEFI updates are only for Acer laptops that shipped with Windows 8 pre-installed, (so that doesn't include Windows 8 upgrades).

Laptops that shipped with Windows 7 are to use the v1.xx BIOS updates only (even if you've upgraded to Windows 8).

Only those laptops that shipped with Windows 8 can use the v2.xx UEFI updates.

So, in a nutshell, your laptop already has the latest version that's compatible with it's non-UEFI BIOS.

No you cannot install a new BIOS, your laptop already has the latest version that is compatible. What ram did you change to?
