Hey guys I'm getting an HD 6950 1gb and it requires 2-6pin but my power supply only has 1-6pin, in this case can i use a molex to power up the other 6pin?
My componets
Cpu: E8400
Mobo: Intel DG41TY
Power supply: SeaSonic SS-400ET Bronze 400W

Solution
not really.
well not decent units.
PSU provide whatever components ask for. it is more like components pulling watts and not PSU pushing.

I appreciate your help but one lasting thing, is it possible that the power supply will provide extra power to the GPU that might cause harm to the component?
