I think i have a problem.... I bought a new PC and while am gaming the cpu is hiting 70-80 degrees celsius, and graphics card the same 80 degrees. Are these temps okay? How much longer will it last me? What could i do?
In idle both are around 35-40 degrees
PC specs:
Cpu: i7 4790k with stock cooler( i don't overclock it, but i think it's overclock by it self)
Gpu: Nvidia Asus GTX 1060 6gb dual oc( i don't overclock it neither, but i think it's overclock by it self too!..
Mobo: asrock h97m aniversarry
Case: Nox Hummer zs + 700w psu( the same brand)
16 gb ram 1600 mhz
i don't know what to do and i'm worried... I've tried to underclock the components but it give me errors..
Thanks for your attention

It is 100% fine. It's a little hot for a 1060 but unless it starts spitting out artifacts or starts thermal throttling there's no difference between it running stable at 80C and 70C.
70-80 degrees for an i7 4790k with a stock cooler is normal.

As for the GTX 1060, usually they run cooler but yours might just be boosting its core clock and core voltage more. Case airflow and ambient temperature are also factors here.

Unless you're getting things like GPU driver crashes or lower-than-normal performance, I don't think you should worry.

I had the same problems - yes that is too hot - anything over 70 things start to crash and shut down in particular the GPU - backed off on some of my video settings and added 3 case fans which dropped the temps about 10 degrees and everything was fine.

I monitor the temps using the performance monitor from ASC ultimate and found the case fans more effective blowing cooler air in.

Mr Kapouris could be right though as my experience is with AMD cpu and a Nividia 550 TI

I have 2 fans: one in the front and one in the back ( they've come with the case). They both working. I don't know what to do...

I don't have any crashes... It's working good and the performance it's very good on gaming, but with this temps i don't know how much it will last.
And if it's boosting itself what could i do to stop this boost? i've tried to underclock it but it crashed and reboot the pc.. Ambient about 25-30 degrees

The pc it's new, it doesn't contain dust :)

How much it will last? Well let's see, aside from any unpredictable electrical faults say, 2 decades? 3? We really don't know how long a CPU lasts running regularly at 80C because nobody has kept one long enough to find out. Even if you take 10 years to upgrade it's extremely unlikely that heat will degrade your chip enough to kill it by the time you upgrade.

Ok, thanks. You set that the card it boost itself, and i think it does, but what can i do to stop the boost and set it on normal core clock? I've tried to underclock it with msi afterburner (-200mhz) but it crashed and rebooted the pc..

I don't care about the noise, i'm worried about the temperature on the gpu, i don't want to broke it in one month..that's all... But if you say that it's good i trust you:D

And one more thing... i've just installed the drivers from nvidia official website, but the the drivers that they come with the gpu (cd) i didn't install them.. you think that should be a problem with this?

Ok, thank you, but about my gpu, what should i do or i don't have to worry? I'm very worried about it..

You said you bought your pc and did not build it. Is it the typical rat's nest of cables and wires blocking the airflow?? Only two fans??? DEF add a couple fans. Try to get the best quality so they move a lot of air. I would tear it apart and reinstall every single wire and make sure it had a new home behind the mobo.
