about 10 days ago i started a thread http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-3183913/psu-gpu.html
experts suggest me to use a new psu but i cant due to preconnfigured hp microtower..
one of them suggest me to use a fsb booster x5 450..i searched internet about it and read a bad news that it is discontinued .some website still have this but it is not cheap and available and i dont think it is genuine or not.
so please help..should i use secondary psu or not.if yes how to do it.and suggest me a best secondary psu.or a 5.25 inch drive way psu
i,m using it for only powering amd rx 460.`
specs are amd rx 6800k, 12 gb ddr3 1200mhz, a75 chipset mobo
please help me...may god bless you ,,,thanks in advance

Solution
wow, really confusing stuf.
Question: your stock PSU from HP has any trouble ?
cause the PSU recommended for rx 460 is 380w and does not need any PCIe conector from PSU, however in your case you got to make an exeption and use your HP PSU(Idont remember but I think it uses some HEC topologies) wich is really close in power needed (320W) due to compatibility isues from geting another PSU( I assume your HP PSU is not standar ATX form).

Another PSU is not very ortodox and shall give you some others isues.

Just plug the GPU at black pcie x16 slot, if your GPU has a 6 or 8 pin PCIe conector just reply to this post.
