Over the last few weeks, I've encountered many of the same, but varying issue.
I've had it in the past however it's always been individual and had a long time period between each one.

The problem I have is when I go to run certain software, be it a game, or recording software I get a message saying "X.dll is missing from the computer... Try reinstall etc.." with X changing each time.

It was never too much of a problem for me, Simply reinstall the software and it's fixed, however in the last week this problem keeps on happening to many different programs on my PC and it's getting kind of annoying now. Usual searches just come up with individual solutions but I can't actually find what's causing it on a mass scale. While I do know the individual solutions, it would be nice to actually stop this from happening in the first place. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

I've tried locating the dll's that the error claims is missing and they are infact there, so my guess would be corruption of some sort. sfcscannow comes back clean, my HDD is in good health. Not too sure if either of those are relevant (I'm still learning) but I generally can't find what's causing this to happen. I've done most of the other basic checks, malware, drivers etc.. and that's all fine.

Keep an eye on your system to see if the problem re-occurs. If it does, and all apps and the OS are clean, then I suspect you have a failing storage device. As you know, it is pretty atypical for DLLs to go missing for no other apparent reason.

Good luck.

Yes I already did both of those. Thanks though. All programs came back clean for any malware or drive errors.
In the end it got too much, the evening after posting this pretty much nothing would open, even newly installed programs so I just reinstall windows. /Solved I guess.
