most games freezing on startup please help

i have a h170 gigabyte mobo, rx 460 and a g4400. I just built the machine and when i go to open payday 2, black ops 2, WOW and so on, the game will either completely freeze my computer or make it unresponive and will not let me close it. If anybody knows how to help me itd be very appriated.

The issue seems like a RAM failure based on the description. Download and run Prime95 to stress test on the memory. Before that, though, you can downclock your RAM using standard 1600 MHz setting in BIOS (instead of XMP). If the situation improves, it is likely your RAM. Of course it would also be a good idea to unseat and re-seat your RAM just to be sure that is not the issue.

8 gigs ddr4 2400 mhz ram and 2 gigs ddr5 vram
