I was going through drivers for the ASUS H97M-E motherboard with windows 10 Home OS. What is the "declaration of conformity" driver for the motherboard? Also if someone can correct me if the "hotfix" driver is for the Windows 10 fusion/adaptation to the motherboard. Do I need to install both drivers to my motherboard? Would appreciate if someone can answer for me. Thanks

the declaration of conformity items are not drivers, if you hover over the links you will see they are PDF documents so you can download them and have a look if you like, one is an FCC declaration and the other appears to relate to Europe.

The hotfix seems to be tied to the Asus Product Registration Utility.

You probably don't need either installed :)

The declarations of conformity isn't part of the MB driver. They are just two PDF files scan of their declaration to FCC:
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

And that the MB conforms with some requirements of the foll owing directives by the CE in the other PDF.

The two Hotfix downloads that I see are for APRP, or ASUS Product Registration Program is just used to register your device to ASUS.

They're both totally fluff and not necessary for operation of the device under Windows 10.

It's not a driver. It is simply a document telling you that by the laws of wherever, that motherboard will not kill you, and will probably not kill your other components.
