Hi All,
Lately, I'm facing issues in KMPlayer in my laptop (Win 7) for not playing videos (any type of videos). I can play audio files (MP3s), but not videos. When I open KMPlayer (the application not video file), it doesn't freeze and I can go through all the options and setting it has. But when I open a video file, it freezes the very next second (after a few flashes of the 'wait' circle of the cursor) displaying nothing. I can't even close the player that I need to "end process" it all the time (this is still only for video files I open). I googled and tried all the suggestion I came across like changing video render to VMR7 and VMR9 HQ render less, etc and nothing worked. (But I can play the videos in Windows media player and VLC)
I have been using the 3.9.0.124 version since its release because any other latest version would play only the audio of the video I opened (tried all the google stuff, failed and kept the 3.9 version since I watch movies occasionally). But now the freeze problem occurs in all versions (3.9.0.124 and the latest 4.1.3.3).
I tried uninstalling, deleting the preferences, the installation folder, CCleaner stuffs etc. and nothing worked.
Can anybody let me know what the issue might be?
Thanks in advance.
