Why my full Ram is not usable

I am using AMD A8 7600 APU with MSI A68 Grenade mobo. Right now I am using onboard graphics of my APU. I have 8 GB RAM installed but it is showing only 6.97 GB usable. Is it beacause the GPU of my APU is using those RAM as VRAM ? Please help friends.

The UEFI and OS allocates ram to itself, not letting the user of your operating system use it, and also the way that the Memory is formatted, similar to how a 1tb hard drive when formatted with NTFS will only be around 930gb.
