Hey everyone! So here are my specs

AMD 6300
h100i v2
MSI 990 FXA gaming mobo
Evga 750w
EVGA GeForce GTX 960 4GB GAMING ACX 2.0+

I get about 80-90 frames per second in Battlefield 4 on high, with Battlefield 1 coming out next month, Id really like to play BF1 on ultra at 60 fps at least. is it possible with 2 960's in sli? or should i just invest in a 1070? I just know the 1070 will bottleneck with my cpu. Thanks!

Solution
If you can get a great deal on a second GTX 960, it will give you a small boost, but you will be limited by your CPU's per-core performance and SLI support. Theoretically, 2 GTX 960s have the power of 980 or a 1060, but the limits of SLI scaling means it will never be as fast or consistent. You might do better all around if you sell the 960 and buy a 1060. A 1070 would be bottlenecked severely by anything short of an i5.

Ok cool. So a 1060 would be better than 2 960's in sli... But would the 1060 be bottlenecked by my cpu? Im OC the 6300 to 4.7ghz
