Yes, it's pretty good, the Asus Supreme FX sound is based on the modified 1150 codec which is among the best available - I like it. Give it a try and see what you think rather than rushing to buy a sound card 
so i dont need to worry about buying a sound card

I wouldn't, I'm not an audiophile, but have the FX sound in all of my main rigs (in sig) and no need for a sound card, I play music, movies often and have TV running through a couple of them. Decent speakers and good to go
