Hi everyone, first-time poster here ! So, my question to you guys is this: I want to buy any of the following: GTX 1060-1080. When I read through the specs of each card, they said that the connectors are: DisplayPort 1.43, HDMI 2.0b, Dual Link-DVI.
Can I use a monitor which hasn't got the latest revisions of those connectors (ex. HDMI 1.4) ?
Also, what exactly is a Dual-Link DVI ? (are there some dual-link and some single-link ports, or is it only a cable that has a dual-link end ?)
