Custom PC Build Compatibility Check

Hi, well first off this is something im looking into after Christmas around February march but just wanted some advise really.
Usually Ive had my PC built for me and not really done this myself so not 100% sure what im doing so could be doing it completely wrong but thats what forum's are for right

?

Now I will post a link to the parts that im looking into and would just like to know what works and what doesnt and if its compatible as i dont trust these online checks so best getting solid advise from people who know what they are talking about. The PC will most likely be OTT but thats ok its just how i like it. anyway heres the link and please go easy on me im new to this

everything looks fine but I think it's a terrible waste of money, no offence but it's a bad component selection, things like high end hardware, not such a great cooler, great motherboard but youve added a sound card and wireless adapter when you could get like a rampage v edition. I would choose different monitors too, things like that. Plus, when you buy this, the 1080ti should be out, and I would 100% recommend getting them, especially on this budget, but i would also recommend some 1440p 165Hz screens instead of a 60Hz 2160p screen and an ultrawide 1080p screen. I get the feeling you've just selected the most expensive parts.

What is your budget and ill do you a proper parts list of what i think is necessary and good value, things like the 6950X arent worth it and you'd be better off with the one down from that. Also, could I recommend the Parvum L1.0 case, and a custom waterloop?

Hi Matt, first off thanks for the reply.
Well straight away you can tell im new to this...so I dont need the wireless card and sound card for one thing...waste of money didnt read specs on the motherboard correctly

Could you tell me what benefits the rampage v edition has over the X99A GODLIKE GAM CARBON (to be honest I picked the x99A Godlike over the rampage because i found it more aesthetically pleasing)

As for the CPU Cooler again going on aesthetics but if its really that bad of an idea im open to suggestions.

The GPU im open to seeing whats available when the time comes around to building this

The monitors also open to suggestions, really i was looking at a main screen for gaming being the 144hz curved with overclocking to 200Hz. and the 2nd monitor was just for watching films on or you-tube while doing anything long and tedious on the main monitor hence why i wasn't too bothered about the 60hz and more wanted it to be none curved and less widescreen.
I am however open to a multi monitor setup.

Feel free to post a proper list for me to consider probably looking around the 5000 mark for the base tower minus the accessories and screens

although i kind of liked the Corsair 760T Black V2 ATX Full Tower Case but who knows
