Hey guys, I just got a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 series and purchased an additional 8 gig kit of ddr3 memory to upgrade it. I properly installed the kit, but it's not being registering on system specs; is there something I'm missing or should I refund it?
The original so-dimm was a samsung
1.35 V 8 gig chip with a clock speed of 1600, and the one I purchased was a Ripjaws 1.35 V 8 gig chip also with a clock speed of 1600.
Side note here: I'm also considering purchasing a M.2 SDD and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations.
