Will pcie adapter increase the speed of SSD

Hello. In new here

I have ordered Samsung sm951 SSD m.2

Recently found out there are some pcie x4 SSD adapters. According to my research pcie x4 support speeds of 10 gb/ sec while the m.2 slot 6gb/sec

So my question is would an Pcie SSD adapter increase the speeds of Solid State Disk ?

And will SSD work with win 7 ?

Not sure where you got those numbers. Modern M.2 slots allow a PCIe x4 link, which provides 4GB/s of bandwidth (hence why NVMe SSDs generally cap out at 2GB/s read/write or 2.5GB read 1.5GB write). Whether you use the adapter or slot the drive straight to the M.2 slot makes no difference.
