Asus Z170 PRO GAMING - CPU FAN ON AND OFF

I have ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming Mobo + i7 6700.
I'm using stock fan which came with the cpu but problem I think is that it is getting on and off every 2-3secs. On the mobo the RED Light blinks and with that the FAN is turned on and off continuously. Is this correct or there is some problem with mobo or fan ?

I assume it's not POSTing? This could be anything, really. Any single component that's faulty will cause a PC to not boot, and power on and off repeatedly.

No. There is no problem in boot. Everything is working perfectly fine but I was just wondering today when I opened the case and noticed the fan is turning on and off with the RED Light blinking

It may be that you have a fan speed profile selected in BIOS that turns the fan off below a certain temperature, and it's oscillating around that temperature as the fan turns on and off.

I have reset BIOS to optimized settings and still the same. And this is happening every 2-3sec continuously all the time.
