After a power outage my pc didn't want to turn on. I narrowed the problem down to my GPU. With it plugged in, my pc doesn't switch on, but if I take it out and use my integrated graphics, it works. My GPU is a GTX 760 OC gaming edition. Its not under warranty anymore, because i sent it back to msi about 6 months ago and they replaced it (the problem was corrosion) I got it back 3 months ago, and now this happens. Is there a way I can diagnose and fix the problem myself? I've tried different cables, and still the same thing. I know it's not my motherboard because I originally thought it was that (one of the wires for my power button came loose and was shorting my system) and I sent my motherboard back and they tested it and there was nothing wrong, that's when I bread boarded my system and found out it was the gpu, and the on button.

You already diagnosed it, bad card. Without some electronics testing equipment and a lot of time you won't be able to find where the issue is specifically, and that is only if the issue is with a capacitor or some other measurable part. If it's an issue with the chip, you can't test that really.

If you want to replace it with the...

Yeah, I tested my system with a friend's psu, and I got him to try my gpu, but still nothing.

"still nothing" meaning your video card did not work in his system? Dead card then.

If you want to replace it with the same speed card, the GTX 950 is pretty much exactly the same speed, at about $120. Or go with a GTX 1060 for a faster card at $200.
