I'm not exactly sure where to ask this question so I'll start here. My rig I just finished takes around 20 seconds from the time I press the power button to the time I see the Asus logo on the screen.
Shutdown time isn't as long but it's longer than it should be. The 900D doesn't come with a chassis speaker so I have no idea if/when it's actually POSTing. I have to pick up some other misc items at Fry's for this build so I'll pick up a chassis speaker while I'm there. My system is as follows:
Corsair 900D
Asus X99-Deluxe II
Intel Core i7-5960x
Corsair H100i GTX
Corsair AX1500i
32GB G.Skill Ripjaws 4 DDR4 3000
EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 FTW
Intel 750 Series PCI-E NVMe SSD
Windows 10 Pro
Anyone have any ideas as to why this $3500 system is taking 20sec to boot? There are 0 speed issues in the OS which is why I suspect the mobo. Would be EXTREMELY pissed if I had to take everything apart and RMA it. Any help would be appreciated!
