For about 2 years my custom build computer has run pretty smoothly. But about 2 weeks ago I had the idea to upgrade my ram from the crucial 4gb ddr3 1600 to the g skill sniper ddr3 1600 series. My mobo is a asrock z97 pro3 and my cpu is an Intel i3. I can't get anything besides 2 post beeps with the new ram, but also the old ram now too. If I have no ram it's 3 long beeps. I looked up the beep codes and it said its a parity error but I do not know what to do from here. It's been about two weeks since I've been able to even give it any attention because of work. Despite having it hooked up to my monitor, nothing ever pops up. The screen remains dark or tries to enter sleep mode again. I just want to know what steps to take before I blow more money trying to fix the issue. The issue now being it doesn't work at all.
Edit:I checked and the ram I have is compatabile with the mobo without being over clocked.

According to American Megatrends, the developer for your UEFI:

"2 short -------------Memory parity error-------- A memory parity error has occurred in the first 64K of RAM. The RAM IC is probably bad"

So I recommend returning this ram and trying again with new dimms. Pretty odd to me that all of these were not working, maybe they were exposed to something dangerous during shipping.

I've tried with a friends ram as well, and no luck there either. Could it be a problem with the dimm slots themselves? I've tried about 4 different types of compatabile ram now and they all give the same error message.
