I like to play games online like Garrys mod, Rocket league, gta, etc. but lately I keep dropping from games and my ping is always sky high. My router is a relatively new DLINK AC3200 and my modem is an arris surfboard sb6190. I play on wifi and my computer is about 30 feet away from the router but through a couple walls. I am also in the basement and the router and modem are also. I generally get 64 mbps down and 2.5 up. My upload used to be better but has tanked recently for an unknown reason. Online games are unplayable at the moment due to my connection ( i usually get 400+ ping on a server that I should be getting 40.) Please help me!! I have tried so many things but nothing seems to work out. Thanks.
