Hi guys! I'm new here so excuse me if I ask something wrong or already asked.
I'm trying to build an intel plataform trying to use as much as I can from my current rig (amd one)
The things that I have and want to use are the following:
- SSD Intel 540 120Gb (SO/apps)
- SSD Samsung 850EVO 250gb (Games)
- HDD WD green 2tb (storage)
- Seasonic m12ii 520w
- 2x8gb HyperX 1866mhz
- RX470 4Gb Red Devil
I live in a shity country with way overpriced stuff, so have that in mind.
I can get the followings:
- Ga-h170-gaming 3 Ddr3
- Core I5 6500 3.2ghz S1151
I would like to use those rams (since they are literally new, they were a gift from my gf) so that's why I'm not going DDR4 (besides I'm sure it doesn't have a huge performance it in games...) but I'm not 100% sure if those rams are compatible with that board, I readed a lot about the 1.5V and 1.35, about DDRL3 but I'm really confused and I don't want to fuck things up.
Any advice is welcomed!
PS: I would love to get an unlocked processor but they are incredible overpriced here...
