Howdy, my internet recently went out time warner had to fix a pole problem for my neighborhood or something. After that. every single night my upload speed is 0.1 - 0.3, it's suppose to be 5. My download remains 30-36.
My default gateway also changed to something like 71.72.208.1 when it used to be 192.168.0.1 and using either I can't log into my modem anymore. So I have no access to my modem and my default gateway is all weird and I have a feeling that might also be why my internet is going slow at night. (not sure)
any tips would be greatly appreciated
EDIT: Fixed default gateway problem. I just did a modem factory reset and I can log in just fine and all that is back to normal. my upload speed is still horrible though so those two problems just happened around the same time.
Extra info:
computer is direct connected to the modem. a wireless router is connected but just for phones.
