I would like to play games like BF4, GTA V, and other similar games, preferably on high settings. What GPU would you reccomend?
I was thinking of a 1060 6GB but all suggestions are welcome.

My current setup is:
i5 4690k at 3.5Ghz
Hyper 212 Evo
MSI z97 Gaming 3
8GB Corsair Vengeance LP DDR3
EVGA GTX 960 2GB
Corsair CX500M PSU

Since you're in the mood to update you should consider a better power supply from Seasonic, XFX or EVGA (G2, GS, or other high end EVGA). I personally recommend Seasonic. The Corsair CX is a poor quality unit which reviews badly. The NVidia GTX 1060 is an upgrade but I too would recommend the NVidia GTX 1070 if you can afford it.

I upgraded from a 960 4GB to a GTX 1070 and it is awesome! But, the GTX 1060 is also a good card to upgrade with. If you get a 1060 you can save some money to buy another 8GB of RAM.

The 1060 would be a great upgrade and it has a nice price, but the 1070 is way more powerful and has a better way better performance but will cost you dubble.

Well, thank you all for your suggestions. I was mainly thinking of the 1060 because im only planning on playing at 1080p, but I suppose it would limit me if I chose to udgrade to playing at 1440p. JQB45 I was thinking of upgrading to an EVGA 650 supernova G2, would that be a worthy upgrade? Im in UK and an MSI Gaming X (Just an example) is £300 for a 1060 and £429 for a 1070. And I know, £130 may seem a small amount of money for the price range that PC parts are in atm, but i'm mainly thinking of what I NEED, so I will think about it, because I want to be future proofed but not bankrupt, so any more thoughts an suggestions are appreciated. Thanks Guys.

If you want to play on 144p you probably want to get the GTX 1070. Because 144p consumes more power and performance and the 1070 is more future proof. You can still get the 1060 if you don't mind gaming on medium settings.

Thanks. This is where i'm stuck at the moment, because I would be future proofed and all, but £430 is a massive amount of money. Also regarding the fact that I would most likely buy a new PSU to go with the new GPU, which adds another £80-£100. Thanks again, I will look into it more and see what is best for me. ADDITION: I don't currently play at 1440p, but I suppose in the future I would rather just upgrade my monitor than a whole new gpu after buying one recently, which would save me money in the long term if i wanted to run at 1440p. Would a GTX1060 run all/most games at 1080p on max settings. and would a gtx1070 run all/most games at max settings at 1440p. Thanks

Unless TechPowerUP is totally wrong with their review its about double. If he sold his GTX 960 the upgrade wouldn't cost that much and again, would be fairly significant. The GTX 1060 6GB is = to a GTX 980. Would you argue that the GTX 980 wouldn't have been a pretty big upgrade from a GTX 960? I doubt anyone would. The 1060 is doing it for $250.

Would a 1060 suffice then? Because it is a lot of money let alone the 1070. I dont need ultra, i just need decent graphics High/Med is fine, and at 1080p, and maybe 1440p in the future, would a 1060 be good enough? Becuase Price for performance it looks like the 1060 is better.

Your power supply is fine for the job. Don't spend money you don't have to based on anecdotal or subjective FUD in a forum. If its not giving you any issues don't worry about it. The GTX 1060 has very modest power demands and won't stress a 500W bronze power supply at all.

Yes i thought this, but a lot of reviews say it is unreliable and I dont want to buy a £300+ graphics card and then have it ruined because i didnt spend £80 on a good psu. I was planning on upgrading my PSU for quite a while now anyway.

I get low FPS in most games, and drops constantly with it.

Would you be able to help me please. Basically, I am thinking of a new GPU because i cant run games that usually are fine. I thought I would buy a new GPU. Do you think it could be something else making things slow, like internet, latency or whatever. You seem to know quite a bit so any help would be useful. Thanks.
