I need a basic guidance in:
- OC of CPU
- Choosing a proper RAM and configuration of it
- Things to be changed in BIOS for CPU OC and RAM configuration
- Any other important stuff I need to know for betterment of overall CPU performance

The components I have:
- MoBo: MSI 970A-G46
- CPU: FX 6300 (6 core)
- GPU: Zotac 670 GTX (2GB)
- HDD: 1TB WD 5400 + 250GB WD 7200
- PSU: Corsair VS650
- RAM: 2GB x 2 (1333MHz)

Solution
Actually, the FX CPUs have a 1333 MC (memory controller) according to AMDs own BIOS and Kernel Programming Guide. They advertise the FX CPUs can run UP TO 1866 at 1 stick per channel (and that's based on 4GB stick testing). If it were native - it would be able to run a full load of 32GB (4x8GB) at 1866. The 1866 bit is also targeted at the higher end FX CPUs. With a 6300 I'd go 1600 or 1866 prob at max, haven't run into many that caryy 2133 easily. You will want a decent cooler to OC the CPU, AMDs run hotter than Intel CPU's. I'd look at the Cryorig H7 or 212 EVO as a minimum for a cooler
Get aftermarket cooler first and also good case cooling, you won't get much or any OC without those. Also get 1866MHz RAM, 2133 or more if you want to OC it but not much to be gained from OCing it.
FX series processors have 1866MHz memory controller built in so it works best at that frequency. For best results, get 2 x4GB RAM. Four is just too little nowadays.
