Hello, I've been wondering for quite some time now why AMD has decided to continue to use a Pin Grid Array design on their new AM4 socket processors instead of a Land Grid Array, that Intel has been using for such a long time and AMD has already used LGA on their old server processors doesn't this mean we should be getting LGA on the consumer processors? Is there any type of advantage on using LGA over PGA? Pin density? Weight dissipation?
