Hello i'm thinking about upgrading my GPU from a GTX 960 to a GTX 1060 but don't know if it would be a big enough difference considering my CPU isn't anywhere near the greatest. My CPU is the AMD FX-4170 I mainly want better fps in overwatch I play on low settings and want a stable 120+ fps. Would I benefit more from getting the 1060 which is the cheaper option or getting a new mother board and a i-7 CPU?

Solution
If you were to get the GTX 1060, it would be seriously bottleneck however it will still give a bit more performance over the 960. It would only be a good idea to purchase a GTX 1060 if you are planning to upgrade your processor as well soon. It would be a better idea to upgrade your processor to an i5 6500. There is no reason to get an i7 as it is not worth the money, an i5 6500 can easily handle a GTX 1070. The i5 will also be good to use for maybe more than 4 years.
