hello, I was wondering if there is any way possible to transmit all of my files ( im talking about everything, like registry as well) to one hdd to another, I am game modder and i like how Ive set up my hdd on my laptop but I want a backup just in case this one goes down, if there any way to do this in a simple and time efficient manner.

ive got a 1 TB hard drive and a asus rog 751 laptop if it matters for transferring purposes.

Thank you, been awhile since iv been on here.

You can make a clone of the hard drive into another hard drive. I have used it a few times to transfer HDD's to SSD's and the users said that the computer worked the same as before without any tinkering. I use the free AOMEI partition wizard. Their site is http://www.disk-partition.com/free-partition-manager.html

I haven't had any issues with malware or anything, but I am sure someone will tell me if I have goofed.

Solution
The information & suggestion provided you by MusenMouse is quite accurate, however the AOMEI cloning program is their Backupper program which you can download from AOMEI's website. You can follow the instructions provided in the program for the disk-cloning operation.
Also, you would do well to perform a Google search on "cloning the contents of one drive to another drive". You will be able to obtain detailed info from various websites on the disk-cloning process.
