Best CPU Upgrade for me?

Was wondering what would be my best option for a cpu replacement. My old amd phenom ii 1055t is on its last legs. Here are my specs

MB: ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+
GPU: MSI GTX 750Ti
PSU: EvGA Supernova 650 GS 80+ Gold
CPU: AMD Phenom ii 1055t with Hyper Evo 212
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB
HD: WD 1TB

I mostly just play single player games and League on my PC. Also looking to upgrade to either a RX480 or GTX 1060 in the future

What is your budget?

I would be making the jump to Intel. Every AMD cpu that has ever existed would bottleneck the 1060 or 480

Dont really have a budget but if I could just only have to replace the motherboard and cpu that would be great. Looking for a pretty good cpu not an insane one. Thanks
