Hello,

Which is better to buy: used ps4 or new gtx1060? My pc specs: i5 3470, 8gb ram, PSU 600w, 128GB ssd, 1TB and 250GB hard disks, 24" IPS monitor with hdmi (without speakers), btw I have no any tv at home, so I want to play on my samsung monitor only. I'm not afraid of gamepads, I can play with a xbox 360 gamepad on PC even in shooters like BF4 or COD without any problem.

So, I have a small budget, but I'm worry that the video card will suck in a year, unlike ps4, am i wrong? And yep, as I know, ps4 generally has about 30fps, after 60fps on PC I can't get how to play the games at low framerate, isn't this a problem on PS4? I never played on ps/xbox, pc only.

Sorry for my mistakes, english isn't my native language, thanks.

Solution
GTX1060 or similar.

6GB is highly recommended. 3GB is doable if you carefully tweak the settings, but for newer games it's going to be an increasing problem.

Your CPU and the rest of your system looks pretty good.

The PS4 is not beyond its "lifespan" as that's now how consoles work (at least until the stop making games), but if you want to play 60FPS reliably then you want PC. Also, there are lots of inexpensive, Steam games to be had (but don't make the mistake of building up a library of games you "will" play later).

How long?
There's no set life span because there will be continue to be great games that are not too demanding. Just do your homework and avoid games that are not going to play well on your PC. That's not much of an...

If possible get a quality GTX1060 6GB card as I said.

Try to avoid blower style cards, and do your research to see if the card has issues. When on a budget, you're going to run into quality issues with cheaper cards.

More than 4GB is mostly future proofing, but it will help a few games now.

Well don't buy i5-3470 coz it is for for gaming...better you go for i5-6500...and motherboard go for Gigabyte b150m, this will match your graphic card.
