How do I update my BIOS?

1. You update the BIOS only if there is a specific problem you are seeing, that is specifically addressed by a newer version.
2. You do it exactly how the manufacturer states. No exceptions, no deviations.

Because in 2 weeks im going to be upgrading my cpu and adding a ssd, and id rather update the bios now so the process will go smoothly

What version is your current BIOS? F9, from 2014, is the latest.
