Before i get started.

My connection = 10mb Fibre line.
Host connection = 20mb Fibre line.
Server was local.
I had no downloads in the background.
I restarted my pc.
I restarted my router.
I checked my wifi (it was off)
I was alone at home. (no one else on the net)

Last night i was playing the finals in my countries Black ops 3 tournament. The competitors constantly ranted about the host. They said he should not host the server and live stream the game. They kept delaying it until our community finally made them crack and we played with the host live streaming the game. So the match starts and we go into a punch round aka a knife round. And immediately i suffer huge lag-like-spikes. When i checked to see if my ping was going up it was 30 - 40 which is normal. No one else was spiking no abnormal pings nothing. My Team speak ping was very stable and i had no packet loss. I do suspect foul play by these guys as we were the underdogs and I had spent the whole day playing and hosting many matches without any problems. Could it be that I was attacked in some way?

After the match I decided to connect to a public server team death match and the game was absolutely smooth. No lag no issues.

I'm assuming that you're connected to the internet with your desktop using wifi (or are you on a wired connection)? Have you made sure your BIOS and drivers are in order? It's possible to assume that you were victim to foul play but if no one else in your team nor others who were using the same host are complaining then you may be suffering from an issue on your end.

It would help if you could relate your full system's specs as well as your OS.
