I plan on using Ubuntu so an Nvidia GPU is pretty much necessary (unless driver support has changed recently without my knowing).

I plan to game (Skyrim, CPU intensive things) as well as use the PC for computer programming using C++ and OpenGL / DirectX.

My budget is $1300 CAD (pretty much what I have already), not including taxes and shipping.

Any improvements, part change recommendations, etc.? Help would be much appreciated.

Changes made:

Switched out MoBo for the use of faster DDR4 RAM.

Also added 2x DDR4 2666 Mhz RAM sticks that by default will run on 2133 Mhz but leaving you options to overclock RAM to 2666 Mhz when needed.

Switched out SSD from cheap V300 series to better 750 EVO series with double the capacity.

Replaced GTX 750 Ti with GTX 950 for much better performance.
