Okay so I am planning a live stream with a group of friends, to minimize network utilization I want to try to split the network. I have two routers. There are going to be five people on stream, and I have another pc that will be hosting the server. I want to be able to connect to the server through one connection - my wifi card. and then I alone will be connected through lan to my router to stream.

You just need to be careful that you do not have a default gateway/route on both your connections. You only want this on your connect that goes to the internet. You can either remove it from the settings in the ipv4 or you can use the ROUTE DELETE command.
