I have a 6pin gpu but my PSU has an 8 pin adapter. For some reason the 6pin gpu has manged to have a 8pin connector plugged in with two extra pins left unblocked. Do i have to get an 8pin gpu or do i buy an 6pin and do the same method of connecting a 8pin conector to a 6pin gpu
