Hello everyone, I'm quite new to the scene of PC building and only just completed my new rig. Iv'e got most things done but i'm a bit lost when it comes to drivers.

Why do I need to use more than one PC to install drivers? can't I just use my new rig that iv'e just set up?

Do I only need drivers for my GPU and Motherboard?

Do I need all the drivers that are available for the mb I have?

How do I generally go about installing them?

Sorry if these questions are just plain stupid.

Solution
The best way is to gather all the current drivers before you build it.
But, if you cannot do that, the ones on the motherboard CD will work. Particularly the LAN driver. Once that is installed, you can go online and get all the newest ones from the manufacturer(s).

"all the drivers"? Not necessarily. But you want the newest.

How to install? Click click on the exe for that driver.
