Yep definitively your Motherboard, it´s limited to max 2x :/ here is mine in comparation:

insulting something and not proposing a solution is plain dumb
I´m not fully sure, but you could buy an Adapter like this: https://www.amazon.com/SilverStone-Technology-PCI-E-Adapter-ECM20/dp/B01798WOJ0/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1474863545&sr=8-10&keywords=m.2+pci+express+adapter

Giving your motherboard will share the Pci-express lanes from Pci-e x16 to 2x Pci-E x8 it will in the end limit your graphic card from about 4-5% which isn´t much of a deal it comes to you but at least you should theoretically be able to use your M.2 950 pro if you don´t mind sacrificing 1 port.

Here it´s a...
I have that same motherboard. The M.2 slot on that motherboard works off of the sata express I believe which provides up to 10Gbit/s. Newer M.2 slots provide up to 32Gbit/s and they work off of the PCI-E lanes. So yeah... It's not going to give you the performance you paid for but it's still way faster than regular Sata III.
